GIFTS FROM MAORI RACE. TOKENS OF FRIENDSHIP. [ Per ?ree« Association. ] WELLINGTON, Nov. 6. i Representatives of the Maori race, through a relative of Princess Te Puea, of Ngaruwahia, have presented to the Prime Minister, as Minister of Native Affairs, a greenstone mere and three mats, each of different design, and all of first-class workmanship. The gifts represent tokens of native friendship and goodwill.
