CONCILIATION PROCEEDINGS (Per Press Association! WELLINGTON, Oct. 20. Consideration ot the application of the New Zealand Federated Drivers’ Association for a Dominion award was continued in Conciliation Council to-day, but after a whole day's sitting with several adjournments for conferences, no agreement was come to and the council adjourned until tomorrow morning. The chief subject of discussion was hours of work. The employers offered a working day from 7 a.m. to 3.30 p.m. inclusive of stable time but the employees stood firm for a forty-hour week exclusive of stable time.
