THE TERMINAL POINT WELLINGTON'S CLAIMS [Per Press Association] WELLINGTON, Oct. 20. Representations for Wellington tc be made the terminal point for the trans-Tasman air mail service, are tc be made to the Postmaster-General by the Wellington Chamber of Commerce. “Officials from Australia have been discussing the question with our Government. Auckland has put in a claim and 1 think we should submit a case and leave it to the experts to decide without fear or favour,” said Captain S. Holm at a meeting of the executive of the chamber to-night. Captain Holm stressed the facilities available in Wellington to flying-boats. He said it was the nearest large city to Mount Egmont, which was a good beacon for ’planes, He moved that The case be submitted to the Postmaster-General.
