OHINGAITI
HEALTH CAMP CAMPAIGN. A meeting of representatives of all local bodies and organisations was called by the postmaster (Mr. A. Charles) for 8 p.m. on Monday evening. Apologies for absence were received from the W.D.F.U. and the Ohingaiti Tennis Club, and representatives were present from the Women’s Institute. From the eight other organisations to which invitations were sent no acknowledgment was received and as no other representatives were present no business could be finalised. The postmaster stated that the W.D.F.U. had agreed to make a donation to the funds and to use health stamps on correspondence and to request their members to do so. The Tennis Club wrote offering to assist in any way that was possible and the delegates from the Women’s Institute suggested that if all organisations made the same offer as that made by the W.D.F.U. it would be all that could be expected judging by the attendance at the
