*** TABLE TENNIS CLUB I The onit.al opening of the Sandon Table Tennis Club was held on Sat- ; urday night, when there was an excellent attendance of members. A handicap tournament was held and the winner of the A grade was R. N. Butler.plus 7. with M. Cockburn, plus 4. second. B .grade, N. Butler, minus | 10, with Miss J. Davey, minus 2, sec- I onil. If sufficient members attend the usual Saturday night’s play will continue until the end of the month. The club captain, Mr G. Williams, and the vice-captain. Mr R. Meyer, are to be congratulated on the efficient management of games during the past season. ON THE MINIATURE RANGE The 27th weekly shoot of the Sandon Miniature Rifle Club on Monday evening, when there was a good attendance of members. The Jenkins Buttons were won as follows: A grade. Keith Lumsden and J. Fagan, equal; B grade, E. Green; C grade, R. Meyer and W. Drew, equal. The following are the detailed scores: J. Fagan 69-69 -138, F. Lumsden 66-70-136. W. Drew 67-68-135, R.
