VICTORIAN DOUBLE SUPPORT FOR GAY BLONDE After her success over Silver Ring in the Craven Plate at Randwick last week, Gay Blonde became all the rage for the Caulfield Cup, which will be decided next Saturday, and, in addition to being supported straight out, she was coupled with many of the leading Melbourne Cup candidates, including Talking, Mala. Sporting Blood, and her stablemate Rogerio. Golden Promise retains his position as favourite for the race, and Desert Chief, after his success on the opening day at Caulfield last Saturiay, would probably have become one ■>f the first choices.
