WANGANUI BRANCH ANNUAL MEETING HELD GOLF MATCH AND DINNER Yesterday was observed as a holiday by legal practitioners in Wanganui lor lhe annum mecU.ig of the Wanganui and District Law Society and the annual golf match and dinner. The annual meeting was held during the morning when the following officers were elected:—President, Mr. A. D. Brodie; vice-president, Mr. K. A. Williams (Marton); treasurer, Mr. G. W. Currie; council, Messrs. W. H. McLean (Marton), A. A. Barton, B. C. Haggitl, H. G. Horsley, A. B. Wilson, and R. S. Withers; representative on the New Zealand Law Society, Mr. A. D. Brodie; auditor, Mr. C. H. Clinkard. During the afternoon the annual golf match was played on the Wanganui Golf Club's course at Belmont, the match resulting in a win for the president's team. A dinner was held at Foster’s Hotel in the evening, when members from outlying centres of the society’s district were present. Mr. A. D. Brodie presided and welcomed the guest of the evening, Mr. J. H. Salmon, S.M.
