TWO WELLINGTON CASES [Per Press Association! WELLINGTON, Oct. 13. The first offence in Wellington under the new Motor Vehicles Amendment Act was dealt with by Mr Ferner, S.M., to-day, Hannah Mary Ellis being charged with driving between a moving tram and two City Council employees wheeling a handcart, which was struck, knocking down one of the men. A fine of 20s was imposed. Raymond Allen was also chargea with not showing reasonable consideration for others and was also fined 20s. He blew his horn and started to pull out from the curb, striking a stationary cyclist.
