HIMEKVILLE BRANCH. The usual monthly meeting of the Hunterville branch of the W.D.F.U. was held in the Presbyterian Schoolroom, Mrs. -Hammond presiding. Apologies were received from Mesdames Mowbray, Stace. Aidworth, Atkins. Brown. Those present were Mesdames Hammond, Maundrell, Lane, CruickshanK, Abel, Weston, Brown, Dalziell, IHston, Cameron, Wilson, G. Wilson, Harre, Boyne, O'Brien, Shackleton, Morrison, Roper, McDonald, Coleman, Wilton, McAlley, Wall, Simpson, Harvey, Henwood, Bartlett, Lambert, Hogg, Thompson, A. Dalziell. Gibbs. Misses McDonald (2). Shackleton, Morrison, Dalziell. A motion of sympathy was tendered to Mrs. Swainson, members standing a minute in silence. It was decided to buy health stamps to help the Health Camp. A competition on something used in the kitchen was won by Mrs. A. N. Bartlett. A flower competition was won by Mrs. Brown. Miss Shackleton delighted the gathering with two pianoforte solos. It is with very deep regret that we lose two valuable members from our division—Mrs. Boyne, who leaves to reside in Carterton; Miss Morrison, our assistant-secretary for two years, has joined the nursing profession. Each guest was presented with a handsome gift and bouquet. Mrs. Hammond, in making the presentation expressed the divisions loss in losing two such members and wished both everv success in the future.
