WANGANUI CLUB RA.CE FROM WAIPARA During the week-end th* Wanganui Pigeon Flying Club held a race from Waipara (South Island), an airline distance of 250 miles. Thirty-six birds were liberated by the stationmaster at 8 a.m. on Sunday and covered the distance to Wanganui in 6hr. 16min. Results were as follow: H. J. Eaton, 1171.2yd5. a min. 1 J.
