No vessels arrived at the Port of Wanganui yesterday and none departed. The only ship working was the t.s.m.v. Port Fremantle, which is loading the Wanganui portion of her London cargo. The vessel was originally scheduled to sail for Wellington to-night but yesterday’s heavy ram further delayed loading operations. The vessel may not sail before tomorrow. „ The Canterbury Company’s m.v. Gale, listed elsewhere a§ being due to-day, will not arrive before to-mor-row. Heavy rain fell in Wellington yesterday and the coaster was unable to work cargo. After being delayed by stormy weather on the West Coast, the Anchor Company’s t.s.s. THE KAITOA. The Anchor Company’s twin-screw coastal steamer Kaitoa (319 tons), with a cargo of Westport coal for discharge at Wanganui, left Westport at 7 a.m. yesterday and is due here this morning. The vessel will sail for Westport after discharge. (Cock and Go.). GALE DUE TO-DAY. With general cargo from Bluff and way ports, the Canterbury Company’s coastal motor-ship Gale (609 tons) is expected at Wanganui to-day, weather permitting. After discharge at the Town Wharf she will sail for Wellington and southern ports. (Millward and Co.). STORM EN ROUTE. The Canterbury Steam Shipping Company’s steamer Storm (749 tons) is scheduled to load at Lyttelton to-day, and at Wellington and. Picton to-morrow. The Storm is due at Wanganui again on Thursday, October 15. (Millward and Co.). THE HAUTURU. With sugar and general cargo from Onehunga, via New Plymouth, the Northern Steamship Company's auxiliary motor-vessel Hauturu (296 tons) is expected at Wanganui on Thursday. After discharge at the Town Wharf she will probajj'y sail for Onehunga. (Johnston and Go.). THE HOLMDALE. Holm and Company’s s.s. Holmdale (681 tons) is scheduled to load at Dunedin to-mor-row, Oamaru and Timaru Thursday, Lyttelton Friday. Wellington Saturday and at Picton on Monday. The steamer is due here again on Tuesday, October 20. OVERSEAS VESSELS. (To Berth at Castlecliff.) DESSAU DELAYED. The German steamer Dessau, originally due at Auckland last Sunday, is now expected to-morrow. She will discharge a quantity of sulphur from Gulf of Mexico ports, and will subsequently proceed to Wellington, Lyttelton, Dunedin and Wanganui to complete. The vessel’s cargo is for Messrs. Kempthorne, I Prosser and Co.). REYNOLDS FROM SEYCHELLES. With guano from Seychelles for discharge at Auckland, Dunedin and Wanganui, the steamer Reynolds was due at Auckland yesterday. The vessel is due here toward the end of the present month. Her cargo is consigned to Messrs. Kempthorne, Prosser and Co.. (Millward and Co.). SOUTH AUSTRALIAN CARGO. The Union Company’s intercolonial freighter Omana (2552 tons), en route from Melbourne, is scheduled to leave Edithburg today and Adelaide on Thursday for Bluff. Duned’n, Lyttelton, Wellington, Wanganui, and New Plymouth. With general cargo for discharge at Castlecliff, the steamer is due here towards the end of the present month. Messrs. C. F. Millward and Co. are the Omana’s Wanganui agents. KALINGO AT GREYMOUTH. At present loading West Coast timber for Sydney, the Union Company’s intercolonial freighter Kalingo (2047 tons, Captain C. Ostenfeld) ia to leave Greymouth this week for New South Wales. She is scheduled to load at Newcastle on October 26 and at Sydney on October 27 for New Plymouth and Wanganui. The vessel is due at Castlecliff early in November. (Millward and Co.). HOMEBOATS DUE (To Load in Roadstead.) THE TORT FREMANTLE. I The Port Line’s twin-screw motor liner Port Fremantle, of 10,830 tons (Captain R. Barham, D.S.C.) will complete her Wanganui loading to-night, weather permitting. The aessel is scheduled to sail for Wellington, Nap'er. Gisborne, and Auckland. From the last-named port she is to sail on October 28 for London, via Cape Horn. (Smith, Beauchamp and Co.). THE CUMBERLAND. The Federal freighter Cumberland (10,938 tons) arrived at Wellington on Friday from London, via Auckland. On completion of discharge she will sail for Wanganui to commence her Homeward loading. The vessel is due , in the roadstead on Thursday From Wanganui she proceeds to New Plymouth. From Sydney the G.-A. motor-liner Aorangi (17,491 tons) arrived at Auckland yesterday morn : ng. She is to leave there again’ to-day for Suva, Honolulu and Vancouver. THE BENHOLM. Reported to have reached Cristobal, Panama. on Wednesday, the Benhoim (5026 tons) is en route from Montreal to New Zealand. The vessel is running under the auspices of the M.A.N.Z.
