M.C.C. CRICKETERS THE AUSTRALIAN TOUR. NO VICE-CAPTAIN APPOINTED LONDON, Oct. 5. A radio message from the Associated Press special correspondent on board the Orion states that G. O. Allen, captain of the M.C.C. team now on the way to Australia, says that there will be no regular appointment of a vice-captain during the tour. He will nominate a deputy from time to time, whenever he himself stands down.
