SCHOOL MEETING The usual monthly meeting was held last week. Present were Messrs. M. Sutherland (chairman», J. Ince, L. Mahoney, R. Lewis and A. Lewis (headmaster'. An apology for absence was received from Mr. L. 3a : ley. The headmaster s and inspector’s ■report were received as satisfactory. It was proposed by Mr. L. Mahoney and seconded by Mr. J. Ince, that the school concert be held on October 16. Messrs. Mahoney and J. Ince were appointed visiting committee for the month.
El CHRE “7.c LYal of tno Anglican Church euchre evenings was held on Friday evening. These evenings have been a great success during the winter months and Friday night’s was no exception. The prize winners were: Ladies', Mrs. Harris senior; men’s, Mr. E. A. Williams. The aggregate prize for the lady winning most games during the season resulted in a tie between Mrs. J. W Brown and Miss Harris In the play-off Miss Harris won. The m n n's aggregate was won by D. O’Dea.
