STAY-IN STRIKE
THE FIRST IN IRELAND Received Sept. 20, 6.50 p.m. LOffiDON, Sept. 19. Ireland had its first stay-.n strike when 55 employees of N. Fiaeman, a Dublin furniture-maker, downed tools locked themselves in the factory and placed a sentry on duty because they resented broken time due to the Jewish proprietor's observance of the Jewish new year holiday. They played cards to pass the time until after 71 hours a settlement was reached.
