W ANGANUI BRANCH | SILVER JUBILEE EVENTS lo mark the silver jubilee of the Wanganui (St. Mary's) branch of the Hibernian Society, special functions are being held, and members are reminded of the different fixtures. To-morrow (Sunday), members will attend the 8 o’clock Mass at St. Mary’.; Church in regalia. To-morrow afternoon, at 2.30. a meeting of the Provincial Council will be held in the Victoria Hall. St. Hill Street, when several important matters pertaining to the society will be discussed. On Monday morning, at 6.45. Mass will be celebrated at St. Mary’s I Church for deceased members of the | society. On Monday r : ght. at the [Victoria Hall, a banquet will be held .at 8 o'clock, and which will be attended by the Mayor. Mr W. J. Rogers. Mr. J. B. Cotterill. M.P. for Wanganui. and Mr Ormond Wilson, ”P. for Rangitikei. and representatives from sister lodges, as well as by delegates from Napier; Wellington, and New Plymouth. On Tuesday evening next, a jubilee dance will be held in the same hall. J for members and escort. All members are requested to attend the functions.
