CHILDREN’S GARDEN CIRCLE

Dear Members, — x Next week I will be able to head niy letter “ Achievement.” Not a meaningless achievement, but something worth while, something that will make those who will, have the privilege of viewing your horticultural prowess feel proud of you all. The result of your labours, which have given you much pleasure, will also give pleasure to the hundreds of visitors and will help all Io realise the wonderful gift our Creator has given us—flowers. So, now, all C.G.C. members, best foot forward and do you best. I know that you will not disappoint. Yours Sincerely, A. WEBEK-TOD.M AX, Hon. Secretary. i Office of the Minister of Internal Affairs, Wellington, 271 h August, 1936. Dear Sir, I. am in receipt of your letter of the 22nd instant with which you enclosed cuttings from the Free Lance and the “Wanganui Chronicle,” and a pamphlet issued by your Society. I have read your letter and the attachments with a great deal of interest and pleasure. I am sure that Hie objects of your Society and the work you are carrying out must result in creating a permanent interest in flowers and gardening generally, and that this will give lasting pleasure to those concerned. I cannot at present give you an assurance that it will be possible for me to be at your Spring Show on either the 25th. or 26th. of next month, but I can assure you that it would give me pleasure if my Ministerial duties will permit me to do so. Yours faithfully, AV. E. PARKY, -Minister of Internal Affairs. A. Weber-Todman, Esq., Hon. Secretary, ('hildren’s Garden Circle, 9 Lewis Ave., Aramoho.
