AUSTRALIAN TEAM’S TOUR TENTATIVE ITINERARY The tentative itinerary for the tour of New Zealand by the team of eight Australian surf life-savers next February was considered at a recent meeting of the Surf Life-savins Associ ition (Auckland 1 The expenses of the tour will amount to about £3OO, and the New Zealand Association requested the Auckland Association to guarantee the sum of £6O. One of the team will be a swimmer of high championship ranking, and, in order to obtain part of the cost, the Auckland Association decided to consider promoting a carnival in the Tepid Baths with the intention of matching him with Auckland champions. The team will be three days in Auckland, and the opinion of the meeting was that a surf carnival should be held at Takapuna Brjach and another at Piha. The arrangements so far made for the tour are as follow: February 3, arrive at Auckland; February 4, proceed to Christchurch, via Wellington; February 6-8, in Christchurch; February 8, depart for Dunedin; February 8-10, in Dunedin; February 10, depart for Wellington; February 11-15, in Wellington, competing at the New Zealand surf life-saving championships on February 13 and 14; February 15-16, in Wanganui; February 16-17, in Hawera; February 17-19, in New Plymouth; February 20-22, in Auckland; Februaify 22, depart for Rotorua; February 23, return to Auckland and leave for Sydney by the Awatea on February 24.
