NEW ZEALAND SUCCESSES Received Aug. .'5O. 7.5 p.m. SYDNEY, Aug. 30. The Eisteddfod concluded last, night. The Melba trophy for vocal solo, men's section, was won by Christopher Lodge, of Forbes. The women’s section was won by Miss Bertha Rawlinson, of Dunedin. The orntoiio solo for ladies resulted: Joyce Atkins, of Canterbury, 91 points, 1 and Bertha Rawlinson, 90 points, 2. The choral contest for female choirs was won by Hurlston Park Choral Society from Newcastle Choral Society.
