The remedies he suggested Here:— (1) Financial relief by a “currency alignment” and development of trade. (2) The return of colonies, thus opening up fresh markets and enabling Germany to obtain supplies of raw materials. (3; Renunciation of the Franco-Russia Pact, otherwise the present German policy and the dangers it entailed would I continue.
