Friday. October 30 will be the date of the annual display to be held in the Civic Theatre. AMBULANCE NOTES The final doctor's lecture has been held and, as usual, several members were absent. It seems to be getting a habit. These members would be most indignant if they were classed “no efficient.’’ However, we hope that they will study the “black book” and be at the Junction Social Hall or. Monday night, as the annual reexamination will be held that night. Dr. Harpur will be the examining doctor and members are asked to be on time. On Wednesday following the reexamination, the division will hold a dance in the same hall at the junction. Dress will be mufti. The division is in need of funds for several new uniforms and it is hoped that members will endeavour to bring their friends to the dance. Members were on duty for all primary school games held during the week and from the accident book they seem to have had a busy time with minor injuries. Members at the re-examination will be re-examined by number only, the same as in previous years. The next parade is on Monday night at 7.55 p.m. in the Railway Hall. HOCKEY DANCE The Athletic Hockey Club have arranged to hold a dance in the Druids’ Hall on Wednesday, September 2. A committee is now making arrangements and is confident of making the function a noteworthy success. There will be th? usual novelty dances and a merry evening is assured all.
