TWO TRAPPERS FINED [Per Press Association] BLENHEIM, Aug. 26. Because they were inexperienced in the art of trapping opossums and were not making wages, Roy Raymond Archer and Leslie John Luff committed a breach of the regulations by laying poison on Black Bush, near 1 Kaikoura, which they had been licensed to trap. The Marlborough Acclimatisation Society instituted a prosecution and as a result the men were fined f2 and costs by Mr Maunsell, S.M. Defendants admitted the charge.
