WE have been authorised to announce that His Majesty, King Edward VIII. has recently honoured Rootes Ltd., of London, world-wide distributors of Humber, Hillman Cars, with an order for a Humber Pullman Limousine, for his personal and official use. In choosing a British Car, His Majesty has followed the example of King George V„ who, at all times used British Cars for his personal and private use, designed by the Humber Company to give efficient service anywhere in the world. (J It will be remembered that His Majesty, has always shown preference for Humber and when, as Prince of Wales, he toured the outlying parts of the British Empire and distant foreign countries he invariably made use of fleets of Humber Cars. <J It is of particular interest to motorists throughout the British Empire, that His Majesty the King has given his gracious patronage to a British Car —expressly. yi/iaton- j- (//(//< f / N.Z.
