The Kilkenny Districts National Corporate Party decided to support the formation of an Irish Brigade to help their fellow Catholics in Spain - and further the cause of Christianity - there. > Maude Gonne Macßride, speaking in 1 Dublin, said that apparently General ? O'Duffy was taking 200 Irishmen to t help the Moors Christianise Spain.
