RACING AT RICCARTON
CJ.C. GRAND NATIONALS. PROSPECTS FOR TO-DAY. The Canterbury Jockey Club's Grand National meeting will be advanced a further stage at Riecarton to-day, when the second day's programme will be decided. Included, in addition to the Grand National Hurdles, will be the second contest for the Duke of Gloucester Cup, for amateur riders. This will be the second event on to-day's programme, which also includes the Beaufort Steeplechase. First day's form should provide a guide for investors to-day, and the following may be well supported in their respective engagements:— Hunt Cup Steeples. - Royston, Money Mine, Royal Buck.
