COLLIERY DISASTER
I 63 MINERS ENTOMBED ; EXPLOSION IN ENGLAND Received Aug. 6. 11.5 p.m. LONDON, Aug. 6. An explosion occurred at. Wharncliffe Woodmoor colliery, near Barnsley, and some 63 are entombed. Rescue work is impeded by falls from the roof. Only one has yet been rescued, severely burnt.
