FARMERS’ UNION PRESIDENT

TO SPEAK IN FEILDING. The newly-elected president of the New Zealand Farmers' Union, Mr. W. W. Mulholland, has accepted the invitation of the Wellington Central Provincial Executive of the Union to address a meeting of farmers in Feilding to-morrow (Friday), August 7. The meeting will be held in the Majestic Theatre and will commence at' 2 p.m. Having in view the new Government's legislation affecting farming pursuits, this meeting should attract widespread interest as it is expected that Mr. Mulholland will have an important announcement to make respecting the policy of the union. Ail farmers, including members of the Women’s Division, are cordially invited to be present.
