FLOODS IN N.S.W
ONE MAN DROWNED SETTLERS DRIVEN FROM HOMES SYDNEY, Aug. 5. One man was drowned and many settlers along the river banks in the south-eastern areas of New South Wales were forced to evacuate their homes by floods. The danger of serious floods along the Murrumbidgee River is acute. The main roads in the district have been rendered impassable.
