JOLLY DANCE

TO CELEBRATE COMING OF AGE Last Thursday evening “River- ' lands,” the home of Mr. and Mrs. P. Paul, was the scene of much gaiety, the occasion being the coming of age of their only daughter Sadie. Mr. and Mrs. Paul, assisted by Sadie s friends, entertained over sixty guests at a jolly dance. Huge log fires burned in dining room and living room. Camelias ano ferns made a touch of colour in the hall lounge, the dining and living rooms being ablaze with bright Iceland poppies. Mrs. Paul received the guests wearing a black lace frock, whilst Miss Sadie chose a midnight blue cloque taffeta with gold thread and gold shoes.
