PRICES OF MOTOR SPIRIT
FIXATION IN NORTH CANTER* BURY. REGULATIONS GAZETTED. [Per Press Association] WELLINGTON, July 23. Regulation of prices of motor spirit for North Canterbury were gazetted to-night. They divide North Canterbury into four areas, area A containing Christchurch and adjacent districts. For this area the general retail price of petrol is fixed at, standard, Is lOd, and premium spirit Is lid. Prices rise to Is lid and 2s respectively in the other areas. Prices have also been fixed for wholesale disposal of spirit.
