HOUSEHOLDERS’ MEETING Owing to irregularities at the meet<n.g of householders held at Parewanui recently, another meeting had 1o be held on Wednesday evening. There was an improved attendance, and srix nominations were received for five scats on the school committee. The election resulted as at the first meeting, the following being elected: Mr J. Mont gomerie, Mr W. Hart. Mr L. Sanson. Mrs L. Sanson, and Mrs G. Crosland. Mr Montgomerie was elected chairman, and Mr Hart honorary secretary. The committee then met, and decided to purchase tools for gardening, and resolved to •complete the concrete work on the drive in front of the school. MOTOR COLLISION On Wednesday morning a collision occurred on the Parewanui Load, near ‘ 1 Fern wood, ” between cars driven by Mr IL McKenzie and Mr M. Gould.
