Alixed Canadian foursomes will be played by the Seafield Ladies’ Golf Club to-morrow, when Tuesday and Saturday players are requested to be present. There will be no club day next Tuesday (June 23) but the round for Aliss Allan’s trophy, postponed ; from this week, will be played oil Thursday. The second round of the Lincoln Bennett Cup will be played by members of the Castlecliff Golf Club tomorrow. This match is for the best two rounds out of three against bogey. The third and final round will be played on July 11. Players are requested to obey the starting instructions so that all players may finish their games in daylight. Players start-' ing before 1 p.m. must start at No. 12 tee and when they arrive at No. 1 tee they must go off alternately with those waiting there. On no account are they to go to the No. 6 tec. The second round of the Power Cup is now completed and players are requesled to complete their games in the third round by July 4. Mixed Foursomes Handicap. Players are reminded that entries for this event close this week-end. The entry sheet is posted at the clubhouse. For King’s Birthday. A one-day tournament will be held on the King’s Birthday. A medal round will be played in the morning. A teams match will be played in conjunction with this round. A stableford bogey will be played in the afternoon as well as the medal round, the two medal rounds to count for the aggregate. Visitors from the sister clubs will be welcomed. AT WANGANUI AIRPORT PLUNKET SOCIETY BENEFIT. YESTERIDAY’S TOLI.’NEY. A very enjoyable day’s golf was had at the Wanganui Airport course yesterday, when a “Plunket Society” benefit was held. The weather was not at all perfect but golfers managed the two rounds despite the cold. Several competitions were held to augment the funds and at the conclusion of the afternoon tea, Mr. J. S. Harrison handed to Mrs. H. D. Robertson the sum of £5 as a result of the effort. Mrs. J. S. HarHson, assisted by Mrs. Neilson (Okoia), Mrs. S. Smith, Mrs. A. Handley (Maxwell), Mrs. H. C.
