ROOSEVELT’S CAMPAIGN Received June 15. 5.15 p.m. VINCENNES (Indiana), June 14. 3fr. Roosevelt addressed a plea tor public support for the Administration’s economic and social programme at a gathering of 30,000 at the unveiling of a memorial to George Rogers Clark, a revolutionary, here to-day. The President’s speech was the third major one in his tour extending from Texas to Washington and ending to-morrow. It resembled mure of a sermon on morality than a political exposition. “Our modern civilisation must constantly protect itself against moral defectives whose objectives are the same but whose methods are more subtle than their prototypes of 150 years ago,” said Mr. Roosevelt. “We do not change from a free Government when we aim new weapons against new devices of crime cupidity. ’ ’
