COASTWISE MOVEMENTS CARGOES FROM NORTH AND SOUTH KAPITI DUE TO-DAY With general cargo from Wellington, the coastal motor-ship Kapiti (242 tons) is expected at Wanganui to-day. She returns to Wellington after discharge. (Burgess and Co.). GALE FROM BLUFF The Canterbury Steam Shipping Company’s 600-ton coastal motor-ship Gale is expected at Wanganui to-day with general cargo from Bluff and southern ports, via Wellington. After discharge at the Town Wharf «he sails for Wellington. Dunedin. Oamaru, Tmaru, Lyttelton and Picton. (Millward and Co.). BREEZE LYTTELTON TO-DAY The Canterbury Company’s m.v. Breeze (622 tons) is to call at Lyttelton to-day, and at Wellington and Picton to-morrow. The vessel is expected at Wanganui next Thursday. (Millward and Co.). THE RONAKI The Northern Company’s a.m.v. Pvonaki (289 tons) is expected at Wanganui on Thursday with sugar and general cargo from Onehunga, via New Plymouth. (Johnston and HOLMDALE EN ROUTE Holm and Company's s.s. Holmdale (681 tons) is scheduled to load at Oamaru and Timaru to-day, Lyttelton to-morrow, and at Wellington and Picton on Thursday. She is due here again next Friday. (Holm and Co.). OVERSEAS VESSELS (To Berth at Castlec’.iff) SIMONSIDE FOR WESTPORT The Newcastle steamer Simonside, of 4537 tons) gross register and under the command of Captain J. T. Nelson, is expected to complete discharge of her Ocean Island phosphate at Castlecliff to-morrow. From Wanganui the steamer will proceed to Westport for bunker coal. (Millward and Co.). THE GABRIELLA'S MOVEMENTS The Union Company’s intercolonial freighter Gabriella is discharging Australian cargo at Castlecliff. She completes at the Gas Wharf to-day and loads at the Town Wharf on Thursday for Sydney. She leaves here on Friday for Australia, via Greymouth. After discharge at Australian ports she will load at Newcastle about the end of June, completing at Sydney for New Plymouth, Nelson and Wanganui. HOMEBOATS DUE. (To Load in Roadstead) FOR LONDON TO-MORROW The Port Line’s 8422-ton freighter Port Adelaide (Captain R. Williams) is expected to complete her Homeward loading in the roadstead to-morrow, when she sails for London, via Cape Horn. (Smith, Beauchamp and Co.)’. TEKOA DUE TO-NIGHT The New Zealand Shipping Company’s 8569-ton freighter Tekoa (Captain J. HowellPrice, D. 5.0.) is expected in the roadstead to-nicht from Napier. She will load for Great Britain and sails about Saturday for Wellington, from which port she leaves on June 17 for London, via Cape Horn. THE PORT DUNEDIN. The motor-ship Port Dunedin, now en route from London to Wellington and Auckland, will commence her loading during discharge at Auckland about June 29 and completes at Opua, Gisborne, Waikokopu, Napier, Wellington and Wanganui, She is due here on July 15 and will clear Wanganui finally on July 18 for Southampton and London, via Cape Horn. (Smith, Beauchamp and Co.). FROM THE SHIP’S LOG THE WANGANELLA The Huddart-Parker Line’s 10,000-ton motor-ship Wanganella is lieted to sail from Auckland on June 19 for Sydney and Melbourne. (Millward and Co.). TAMAROA’S “ALL WELL’’ The Shaw, Savill and Albion liner Tamaroa, which left Wellington for London on May 25, has reported by wireless: “Fine weather experienced since leaving. All well. ’ ABEL TASMAN The Abel Tasman, with cargo from New South Wales ports, is to leave Sydney on June 13 for Wellington, Lyttelton, Dunedin, New Plymouth and Greymouth. She is due at Wellington on. June 20. THE R.M.S. MAKURA Owing to Tuesday, June 23, being the King’s Birthday, the Royal Mail liner Makura, which is due at Wellington from San Francisco on Monday, June 22, will leave for Sydney at 3 p.m. on Wednesday, June 24. TAINUI CLEARED KINGSTON In continuation of her voyage from Wellington to London, the Shaw, Savill, and Albion liner Tainui is reported to have cleared Kingston, Jamaica, on Wednesday. She sailed from Wellington on May 9. HUNTINGDON REPORTS The Federal Line steamer Huntingdon has reported by wireless that she will arrive at Auckland from Liverpool on Thursday morning. The vessel will unload explosives at the Motuihi Anchorage before she comes into port to unload cargo from West Coast ports of Great Britain. The remainder of the cargo is for Wellington, Lyttelton, Fort Chalmers and New Plymouth. KALINGO IN DOCK ECHO OF GREYMOUTH MISHAP When Die Union Company’s cargo steamer Kai ingo was lifted on the floating dock at Wellington last Thursday a survey revealed that fairly extensive damage had been done to her hull when she struck the south training wall in the Grey River recently. The ships forefront was severely crumpled a number of plates and frames being bent and twisted. Other damage was done at several parts well down on the starboard side of the hull. A start was made with the work of repairing the hull, which is expected to take about a fortnght. Apart from the straightening and fairing up of certain damaged plates and frames, at least five new plates will be required to make good the damage. OVERSEAS VESSELS. VESSELS DISCHARGING.
