PRINCE AT MOCK BATTLE
LISTENED IN TO THE DERBY Received Alav 28, 8 p.m. LONDON, May 27. Hatless and wearing plus fours, the Duke of Gloucester and a party of officers, all in mufti, participated in allday manoeuvres and a mock battle in the Alerionethshire mountains. The Duke lunched on a packet of sandwiches from a pocket and quenched his thirst at a mountain stream. The one brief spell in a strenuous day was to listen to the broadcast of the Derby on a portable rad in.
