AUSTRALIAN QUANTITIES ANNOUNCED Received Mav 26, 10.30 p.m. MELBOURNE, May 26. . The Australian Meat Board to-day announced the quantities of chilled and frozen beef and veal available for export to the United Kingdom lor the second and last quarters of this year and for the period from July 1 $o he expiry of the meat agreement between England and the Argentine on November 11. The quantities, which exceed those for the corresponding parols of last year, are:—July 1 to Oatib’r . : ',o 671,832 cwt.; July 1 to November 11, 824.385 cwt.; July 1 to Decamber SI, 1,005,265 cwt. The totals for all States in frozen and chilled beef ar«>, iespectively, 857,832 cwt., 1 .J-)2,2Sscwt. and 1,283,565 cwt.
