laiicd. Oroua tried hard to even matters and were on the verge of scoring several thnes but the green defence held good. From the lineout Ackroyd scored. Hazelwood converted. A good run by Os-borne sent Woolford over to score wide out, but Ackroyd’s kick at the goal failed. A good line run saw N. Ingram cross over wide out, Ackroyd’s kick at the goal going wide. From a line out in Oroua’s twentyfive Woolford crossed the line. Hazelwood failing to convert. The whistle sounded shortly after with play in mid-field, Ohakca winning by 28 to 3. Mr. I’.
