HUNTEBVILLE BRANCH The monthly meeting of the. W-D-l-L. was held in the Presbyterian Schoolroom on Thursday, June 21, there e ing a good attendance. Apologies for absence were received from Mesdames .McDonald, Henwood, J. Brown, L. Lambert Boyne. Those present were: Mesdames Lloyd, Hammond (presiding), Harvey, Dalziell, Stratford, Aldworth, Crniekshank, Simpson, Morrison, Weston, Wilson, Shackleton, It. G. Dalziell, Misses Morrison, I. Shackleton, Hammond Scott, Maundrell (2), Weston, Abel, Harre, Bartlett, Illston, Cameron. Mrs. Shackleton gave an interesting report ou the provincial meeting held at Marton last week. blisses Morrison and Shackleton gave a pleasing description of all lectures and knowledge gained at the Girls Educational week held in Palmerston I North early in May. The points prize was won by Mrs. Harre, with Miss Morrison second. I A sumptuous afternoon tea was served by Mesdames A. bl. Bartlett, Weston, and Stratford.
