BUTTER AND CHEESE EIGHT HUNDRED ENTRIES THE JUDGES’ AWARDS I Per Press Association. 1 HAMILTON, May 25. There are SOO entries in the butter section anil 425 entries in the cheese section at the Waikato Winter Show, which will be opened by the Prime Minister on Tuesday. The butter and cheese sections were judged by the graders of the New Zealand Dairy Division under Mr W. Dempster, of Hamilton, chief grader. Consenting on the butter section the judges said: “An outstanding feature of the butter exhibits is the remarkable uniformity in the quality of the entries. Uniformity is paramount, and it is apparent that this factor has been recognised and given effect to by the exhibitors. ’ ’ The principal awards were as follows: Butter Grand Championship Banner.—Awahuri, 659.6 points, 1; Rangiwahia, Ruane 4 Collingwood Co-operative, 658.7, equal, 2; Wangachu Co-operative, 657.1, 3.
