GONVILLE CROQUET CLUB

ANNUAL MEETING. The anual meeting of the Gonville Croquet. Club was held this week when Mr. J. Morrison (patron), presided over a good attendance. The election of officers resulted as follows:—President, Airs. Uttley; vice-president, Mesdames. Webb-Jones, Fisher and Clark; captain (appointment to be made later); vicecaptain, Mrs. Michie; secretary, Mrs. Orchard; committee, Mesdames Wainwright, Johnstone, T. Warnock, Parker, Dudding and Miss O’Neale. The retiring president, Mrs. B. Hoar, thanked the committee for the help and co-operation given her daughter during her term of office, and proposed a vote of thanks to Mr. Morrison. Mesdames Fisher and Walker were appointed delegates to the Wanganui Croquet Association.
