The report of the Inter-Departmental Committee on the admission of women to the diplomatic and consular services was issued to-day as a White Paper, together with a statement in which His Majesty’s Government announces that it is its intention to adopt the recommendation of the four members of the Committee that no change should be made in the existing position.
