LONDON SEASON OPENS GROWERS’ POOR REWARD. LONDON, April 29. Viscountess Bledislo-e opened the apple season at the New Zealand offices. 1 Sir James Parr, deploring the middlemen, said the growers received a penny j a pound .on apples which sold in Lou- , don at nine to ten pence.
