Marshall, 8.12 (Miramar), beat P. Huzziff, 9.4 (Tariki). It was a lively bout. Marshall was the more scientific and a faster boxer, winning every round. He used both fists to advantage, whereas Huzziff wasted many of his punches. T. Troy, 11.11 (Miramar) beat R. Kumball, 11.10 (Tariki). 'The decision did not meet with complete approval.
