PERSONAL The many friends of Mr. C. Reilly will be pleased to hear that he is recovering from his severe accident. Mr. and Mrs. G. Salt and family have returned from their holiday at Wanganui. Mrs. Ronald Gardner returned home from Taihape Hospital to-day. BOWLING A one-day tournament will be held by the Bowling Club at the week-end for trophies presented by Mr. G. J. Green. The following is tho draw:—W. L. Bailey and An twin v. Barrell and Warrilow; L. A. Bailey and Sutherland v. Borman and ’’arrett; Alexander and Green v. Chant and Cherry; McGregor and Way mouth v. Petherbridge and Pritchard.. Matches will commence at 9 a.m. The Croquet Club will be the guests of the Bowling Clubto afternoon tea.
