VICTORIAN APPOINTMENTS

POSITION OP HANDICAPPER *> The committee of the Moonee Valiev Racing Club has appointed Mr. G. A* Davis to fill the position of handicapper, recently vacated by Mr. IS. Griffith, who is to act in a similar capacity to the V.A.T.C. alone. Mr. Davis is a son of the V.R.C. handicapper, Mr. J. H. Davis, and has had a particularly wide experience. He has for some years filled the position of handicapper to the Epsom and Mentone Turf Clubs and numerous countrv clubs. Mr. Davis will take over his new duties immediately, and will frame the handicaps for the Compensation meeting at Moonee Valley on February 19.
