The links are in really good order, and ‘as the fairways are again being cut for play, likewise the tees and greens, some excellent scores should be registered. Over the week-end the second round medal match on handicap for the President’s Trophy will eventuate. .Competitors may play their rounds cither morning or afternoon, and participants are requested to hand in their cards as a guide to the handicapper. The game for the President’s Cup consists of four rounds of handicap medal plav, the player returning the lowest aggregate three rounds becomes the possessor of the trophy. It is anticipated that a large number of members will compete, and so assist to popularise golf under idea] summer conditions.
