Douglas, and Miss Marie Douglas, of Wanganui East, have returned from New Plymouth. after attending the Putt—Bell wedding, where the latter acted as flower girl. Miss Joy Summerell, who has spent the last three yelirs training at the Palmerston North Hospital, was successful in passing the final State ex- | amination held recently. The Misses Vera and Jean Shackleton have returned to Hunterville after spending a holiday at Waverley Beach as the guests of Miss Gwen Mathieson and Miss iShirley Johnston.
