Gerrard in charge, left ’he Taieri airport at 11.33 this morn ing on the first scheduled flight to Palmerston North with four passengers : for Christchurch ami two for Palmers- ! In the last J 5 days over 400 passengers were carried and full loads are now being taken on practically every trip and an extra afternoon crossing from Wellington to Blenheim and back to | Wellington has had to be introduced 1 to cope with the demand.
