JEWELLER'S SHOP ROBBED GOODS STOLEN VALUED AT £lOO [ Per Prew Association. ] WELLINGTON, Jan. 12. A smash-and-grab raid was carried out on Air. E. S. Neill’s jeweller’s shop, Jackson Street, Petone, about 4 o’clock this morning, the thieves decamping in a motor-car with £lOO worth of watches. The jewellery was displayed on trays in a window. The noise of broken glass was heard by a man in a side street who arrived to see a man carrying trays of jewellery jump into a motor-car and make a quick get-away.
