Air. Walter Nash, Alinister of Finance, will be a visitor to The Alarton races to-day. Air. J. 8. AtcLeod, president of the New Zealand Conference, will attend at the Alarton races to-day and will present the trophy for the Duke of Gloucester Cup to the winner. A British Official Wireless message 1 states that the King has approved of an. extension of the term of office of Lieutenant-General Sir A. G. Wauchope, as High Commissioner and Commander inChief for Palestine, and < High Commissioner of Transjordania for a period, of five years, from Novem- ■ bcr 1936.
