Disappearing from sight while bnth* ing with some other children at Lak< Ngaroto, Evereil Marion Cateiey, th< 11-year-old daughter of Mr. A. E. Cateley, Ohaupo, was drowned on Saturday. Other children and the child’s mother saw the girl disappear, but thought that she was playing, and it was only when she fajled to reappear after some time that the alarm was given.
